Reflection:
I did not find this assignment difficult at all because there is always a way to change things for the better in the world. If there wasn’t, then there would no entrepreneurship. It is just a matter if anyone would take the first step to change the way things are, or if it is worth it to change those things that “bug” people. This assignment definitely has helped me think about the challenges that we face in our daily lives that we have been exposed to, but never has thought deeply about. .

Hi Duc!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your bug list. I especially liked how you didn't limit your bugs to only on UF campus. Your reasoning behind the cigarette butts in Europe being a cultural effect made a lot of sense. Regarding your reflection, the statement made about entrepreneurship existing because bugs will continue to exits really resonated with me. Entrepreneurs fix things, so there are always going to be things to fix as long as entrepreneurs are around. This assignment made me really think about problems that I didn't think I had, and how the solution isn't always simple. Overall, this is a great post!

Hey Duc
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your list. I noticed a lot of things on your list that bother me too that I was unable to think of when creating mine. I forgot to include a lot of the things that bug me during travel, but in your list you included a lot of that. This assignment was interesting because it showed me different perspectives for many different things in life and how they would approach solving problems.
Hey Duc,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your list and feel the same way about almost everything listed. My favorite part of your post however was your reflection. I think you did an excellent job describing the whole purpose of this exercise and the meaning of entrepreneurship to you. I agree most with your "bug" regarding study edge's efficiency regarding their website. I don't think it would be that difficult for them to optimize their website to make it more easily accessible and less "buggy".
Hello Duc,
ReplyDeleteI thought your bug list was very well put. I had a lot of trouble trying to find reason why instead of reason why they upset me but you seem to have done it wonderfully. I agree with most of your bugs especially the one about the parking at UF. It is insane how much people go to this school and how little parking they have as well as how much they charge because they know people are going to pay for it anyways. Great job.
Your list helped me realize other things that bugged me that I did not realize before. Since I usually do not remember what bugs me, it was nice to read another list to find what can be further improved in life. Unlike you, I had difficulty completing this assignment because, as I mentioned, I tend to forget what bugs me in the daily life.
ReplyDeleteYour list and mine have a lot in common and have very valid and common problems. I can relate to your every day problems because a lot of them affect me as well. The parking decals are insane at UF because you literally cannot park anywhere on campus unless you live on campus. It is quite inconvenient for students who live off of campus. I would think that the students off campus would be able to park since they use their cars more but what do I know.
ReplyDeleteHi Duc,
ReplyDeleteYour list has really broadened my perspective on all of the things in this world that has room for improvement. Parking decals, although I am an online student, I was once in that same situation with all of the parking limitations with having a parking pass that I paid for! Why don't college campus admins realize how tough it is for us students to park? I also laughed out loud at the Chick-Fil-A comment, why do I always crave what I can't have on a Sunday?
Awesome work Duc,
ReplyDeleteA lot of the issues you've presented are similar to issues I have. Such as the surplus of ads on youtube, Chick-Fil-A closing on Sundays, and the amount of time youth spend on social media. I personally deleted all my social media apps because I would catch myself spending hours on it a day and figured this is not a good use of my time. However, I think as entrepreneurs we can exploit this fact by using social media heavily to promote our products / services. I'm very interested to see which one of these "bugs" you decide to expand upon and solve with your ingenuity. Keep up the great work!
