Growth Mindset- Whatever I set my mind to, I am not afraid
to work towards a skill or anything that I want in life. Even if the skill is
completely brand new, etc.
Outgoing personality- I am able to relate to a variety of
people very well and can connect with people from different perspectives and
cultures.
Organization- My time management is renowned to those who
have worked with me. I am never show up late to meetings, and never take on
more than I could handle.
Agreeableness- I am able to see many different perspectives
with relate to people of different backgrounds.
Strong Work Ethic- I am self-motivated and I work very hard
to get where I am because of my work ethic. I will put a lot of time into something
completely new to learn it.

I am very approachable as a person and can see things from different perspectives. I also am very academically focused and skilled in business aspects.
Differences: I am astounded to the feedback that I have gotten. I don't see myself as approachable and kind as I thought people have thought about me. I think this feedback is very helpful in increasing my self esteem, and also see my true strengths. The things these people have said hav been accurate so I would not make any changes.
I think this a good wake up call for you. It is a great opportunity to hear what others think of you in a positive way especially when it is different than the way you see yourself. This means that people are telling you new information about yourself and you can then use that to your advantage. Now that you know you are an approachable kind guy you can use that and not be so nervous when conducted interviews or when you are being interviewed because you know that you are kind and approachable.
ReplyDeleteThis assignment is a great assignment because it makes you realize who you truly are. A lot of the times it is hard to analyze yourself in the relationships that you form because you are too busy analyzing the other people to look at yourself. A lot of the times we are blind to the actions that we take and what kind of impact they have on others. This assignment helps to bring our effect on others to our attention.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that there were two common answers among your interviews and your personal assessment. First was that your skills are tailored to a business atmosphere, things like being on time to meetings and being organized with your responsibilities, which are two things that will help tremendously in a work setting. The next is being sociable and approachable, and good at establishing relationships. As far as networking is concerned this is also beneficial.

ReplyDeleteI think this assignment is a very helpful one as it either confirms the beliefs you hold about yourself, or in your case it opens your eyes to potential strengths that you can now take advantage of in the future. You also had some similarities with the way you view yourself and the way others view you regarding the business component of your personality that you should not forget to use in the future.
Hi Duc, this assignment really makes you see not only the way you see yourself but the way others perceive you.I notice that when identifying what makes you special it is alot of tactical skills but I like that you were able to see yourself in a different light such as the way you affect others through the opinions of your friends.

Being willing to learn is a huge aspect of an entrepreneur that some people overlook.
